Albino Strain

Albino guppies carry no black pigment at all, which is what gives them the pink or red eye and the clean, translucent body that lets colour sit on top instead of underneath. That same missing pigment makes them a little more light sensitive than a normal guppy, so keep the tank away from a bright window and they will hold colour better.We breed albino lines here in Pune and grow them out on live baby brine shrimp and imported Otohime and NRD, which is what puts the depth into an Albino Full Red and keeps a Koi Red Ear from washing out. Albino fry are slower than normal fry for the first three weeks, so every pair we list has already cleared the stage where most albinos are lost.Pairs in this range start at Rs 200. Every fish is checked for fin damage before it is bagged, and anything with a split caudal or clamped dorsal does not ship.
