Four to six day delivery · Live arrival guarantee · Train delivery on request
We breed guppies in Pune and send them out across India as pairs. Every fish on this page came out of our own tanks, was raised on live baby brine shrimp from the first week, and grew out here before it was listed. That is the difference you are paying for when you buy from a breeder instead of a reseller.
Delivery takes four to six days to most of the country. Every box goes out with a live arrival guarantee, and if something does not make it, we replace it.
Most guppies sold online in India pass through three hands before they reach you. A farm produces them in bulk, a wholesaler moves them, and a store lists them. Nobody in that chain fed the fish for eight months or culled the weak ones, and nobody can tell you what it ate. We can, because we bred it. Here is what that difference looks like in practice.
Colour, body depth and fin size in a guppy are decided in the first two months. A fry raised on crushed flake never catches up, whatever you feed it afterwards. Ours hatch and go straight onto live baby brine shrimp, hatched fresh here every day, then move on to Otohime and NRD as they grow out. Both are imported feeds and both cost several times what local flake costs.
Every fish is looked at on its own before it goes into a bag. A split caudal, a clamped dorsal, a nipped edge or a bent spine means the fish does not ship, even if it is the last one of that strain and someone is waiting on it. We would rather ask you to wait a week than send a pair that disappoints you the moment the bag opens.
Most sellers ship the biggest fish they have because it looks impressive in the bag. We do the opposite, on purpose.
A juvenile has not locked into any particular water yet, so it adapts to yours instead of fighting it. A full grown adult that has spent eight months in our parameters sulks for a week in yours, and that first week is when almost all losses happen. Juveniles also travel lighter, foul the bag more slowly, and colour up in front of you over the next two months, which is half the pleasure of keeping them.
Each price is for one pair, one male and one female of the same strain. Shipping is calculated at checkout once you enter your pin code.

The full range with photographs is on the shop page. What is in stock today is what has already grown out, so the list changes through the month.
Each pair goes into a breather bag with fresh water and oxygen. The bag goes into an insulated box with packing around it so the temperature holds steady and the bag cannot roll. We pack on the morning of dispatch, not the night before, so nothing sits bagged overnight before the journey even starts.
Once the box leaves, we send you the tracking on WhatsApp and stay on that thread until you tell us the fish are in the tank. If a courier delay shows up in tracking, we would rather hear about it from you early than after the box has been sitting at a hub for two days.
If a fish arrives dead, we replace it at no cost. To claim it, record an unedited video that starts before you open the box and keeps running until the bag is opened and the fish are clearly visible. Do not cut it, do not start filming after the bag is open, and do not take the fish out first.
The reason is simple. Once a fish has been netted into a tank there is no way for anyone to tell whether it died in transit or in the first hour at home. The video removes the argument entirely, and it means we can settle your claim in one message. Full terms are on the shipping page.
If anything looks off in the first week, message us with a short video. We have seen most of it before and will tell you what to do rather than selling you something.
Most guppies bought locally in India are dead inside six months, and people conclude that guppies are just short lived fish. They are not. A well bred guppy on steady water and real food lives around two years, and ours regularly do. Strain matters, but husbandry matters more, and that part is entirely in your hands.
Steady temperature rather than a perfect number. Small regular water changes rather than one big rescue. Food with real protein in it. Not overstocking. Not medicating on a guess. Follow the guides linked below and two years is realistic, not optimistic.
Buying the fish is the easy part. The questions start about four days later, and that is when most sellers stop replying. Message us on WhatsApp any time about your tank and we will answer, whether it is a week after delivery or a year later. There is no charge and you do not have to buy anything.
We have covered this from A to Z on the blog, so you are not left guessing after the box arrives. These are the guides worth reading in your first month.
You can order straight from the shop, or send us your list on WhatsApp and we will confirm what is ready before you pay. The second option is worth using if you want more than two or three pairs, because we can tell you which strains are strong right now instead of you guessing from photographs.
There is no minimum order. One pair ships the same way a dozen does.
A few things worth checking on any seller, including us.
Four to six days for most of India. In Pune, in-stock orders arrive within 24 hours – same day if you order before 11:30 AM. The exact time depends on how far your pin code sits from the nearest courier hub.
It is calculated at checkout once you enter your pin code, so you see it before you pay.
No. One pair is a perfectly normal order.
Yes, one male and one female per pair. Some listings also carry male only and female only options when we have spares.
Give them two to three weeks to settle. Females often arrive already carrying, so it is common to find fry before you were expecting them.
Yes, ask for train delivery before you pay and we will book it to your nearest station.
If it is your first order, take one pair of something at ₹200 and see how the shipping goes to your address. Once you know the route works, order the strain you actually want.
We send live guppies across mainland India. The list below is where our boxes go most often, grouped by region. Metros usually land at the faster end of the four to six day window because they sit closer to a courier hub, and smaller towns take a day or two longer.
West India
South India
North India
Central and East India
Not on the list? It almost certainly still works. Send us your pin code on WhatsApp and we will tell you the transit time before you pay.
For Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, the hill states in winter, the north east beyond Guwahati, and the island territories, ask us first. Long transit at those temperatures is hard on fish and we would rather talk it through than ship and hope.
If you are in Pune, skip the courier entirely. Delivery timings and pickup details are on the Pune page.
Tell us your city, your tank size and what you like the look of. We will suggest a pair and tell you straight if something is not ready to travel this week.
Want a strain that is out of stock? Send us the name and we will message you the day it is back.
Buying in Pune? There is a separate page for Pune with delivery timings and pickup details.
