Classic Guppy is a small-batch home breeder based in Ambegaon Pathar, Pune. We raise our fancy guppies ourselves. We do not sell wild-caught fish, and we do not resell stock we have not grown out in our own tanks.
Every pair we sell is bred and grown on site. Fry are started on freshly hatched live baby brine shrimp from day one, then moved on to Otohime and NRD as they begin to colour up. That feeding routine is the single biggest reason our fish carry thicker bodies and denser colour than flake-only stock.
We keep water parameters stable rather than pushing fish for rapid turnover. Guppies that grow up in clean, consistent water ship better, colour better, and breed more reliably once they reach you.
In Pune, in-stock orders are delivered within 24 hours – same day if you order before 11:30 AM, next day if you order after it. For the rest of India, delivery usually takes four to six days depending on your location. If you would rather collect your fish yourself, train delivery to your nearest railway station can be arranged on request.
We guarantee your fish arrive alive. If a fish arrives dead, we send a replacement at no extra cost. To claim a replacement you will need a clear, unedited unboxing video that shows the box being opened and the fish inside before anything is removed from the packaging. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.
Our involvement does not end at delivery. If you need help with feeding, medication, water preparation or general care once your guppies settle in, message us on WhatsApp and we will help. You can also work through our guppy care guides, which cover breeding, water, tank setup and common diseases.
