Metal Body Strain
Metal body guppies carry a reflective, almost metallic sheen across the front half of the body that catches light as the fish turns. It is a body trait rather than a tail trait, so it pairs with almost any finnage and it shows best under a plain light rather than a coloured one.Metal Black is the strongest of the group and one of the hardiest guppies we keep, which makes it a sensible first fish for anyone starting out. Metal Yellow Lace is the more delicate of the two and takes longer to grow out.Everything here is bred in our own tanks in Pune and raised on live baby brine shrimp from the first week. Pairs start at Rs 200. All of them breed readily, so a single pair in a one foot tank with somewhere for the fry to hide will usually populate the tank within a couple of months.
